I am alive while I sleep.

The sea felt cold against her skin as she swam upwards from the passage. She paddled herself to the surface, swimming like a dog. She air she had kept in for over two minutes now was beginning to stale. A serenely white light decorated the water's surface like a starlit night. She gasped for air as she surfaced; the sweet atmosphere kissed her lungs.

"The monastery is gone!" She screamed with water still running down her eyes. The cavern walls were threaded with crystals, but this time the Cloister seemed different. Despite the pure light she had seen on the surface of the water moments ago, the aquamarines glowed a harsh red. Euphrates stepped out of the pool rigidly and looked at Kara Su, but sensed something different.

"O' dweller of the Innermost," a voice resounded, "all that you know..." Water dripping from cracks in the wall seemed heavy, yet light. With each drop, a sound pulsated throughout the room. The red crystals resonated, and droplets of water begun to spin around each other as if they were stars.

"The others, they're all gone! Nothing is there!" Euphrates screamed. The statue did not respond. "Why won't you help us?!"

"WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE," the statue begun resonating, too. "ALL THAT I KNOW, DWELLER OF THE INNERMOST."

"I... don't understand, Kara Su!" Euphrates stared in fear as the statue exploded into fragments. A ghastly figure floated in the epicenter, it's ephemeral red aura filling the room.

"WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE, WHAT I KNOW, ALL THAT I KNOW. I AM NOT DIVINE, THE DAMNED ONE. WHERE DO I GO? WHAT DO I SEE? SHOW ME, DWELLER OF THE INNERMOST." Nothing was visible anymore, the cloister had become an auric nightmare.

Euphrates couldn't speak, her mind was flooded with times of ancient past. Indescribable manifestations flooded her consciousness.

She awoke in on her cot, in her home, beside the hearth. The fire glowed brightly, moving to-and-fro with the electromagnetic reverberations of her vivid dream. She felt the words in her body, in her bones, "Wait until you see what I know, all that I know. Show me, Dweller of the Innermost. Your Gods know the truth, you feel their presence. Your vision is but the purest. You will see the truth, and you will bring it to us."

She lay in her bed and stared through the tiny skylight, "Find peace, Euphrates. You are another petal on the flower. You are the clouds in the sky and the worms in the earth. Blessed by Alphi, the ocean in the sky."

She prayed.
